or use the following directions:

To get to the Ice Palace, get to the Glacier first. 
From the 6-way, head NW(x2), Down, NW(x2), N(x4), 
Up, NW, Up, NW(x2), Up, NW, N, N, N. 

If it's not there, head: N, N, N, E, E, Down, E, E, S, S, S. 
If it's not there, head: N, N, N, E, E, Down, E, E, S, S, S again. 
If not there head: N, N, N, E, E, Down, E, E, S, S, S again. 
If not there head: N, N, N, E, E, Down, E, E, S, S, S one more time.

From the glacier you get into Section 1 of the Ice Palace
Here you'll find Ice Warriors, Gargoyles and Polar Worms.
If you keep going up, in going in circles, you'll get to
Section 2. There isn't a fixed spot that you go up to this
section, just keep walking. Here are Palace Guards, Ice Golems
and Ice Elementals. 
The Third Section has Ettins, Female Giants
and Frost Giants, and if you keep going, the Storm Giant is
at the top. Beat him, and save Princess Kathryn.
